STAND UP COMEDIAN, SIT DOWN DRUMMER...
Herbie got his start in comedy at just five years old, entertaining the customers in his mother's hair salon in Cambridge, England. Creating characters and enchanting the ladies trapped under the dryers. Since those formative and crucial years, he spent the early nineties touring and recording as a drummer with a diversity of original Cambridge musicians. Some, later in life, joined or played with the likes of Dizzy Rascal, Dio and Groove Armada. The final band, which he co-founded, shared line ups with Suede, Supergrass, Jools Holland and many more.. but it was during one particular life changing performance, to a belting wave of laughter.. he fell off the drum kit.
Finally becoming a full-time comedian in his twenties, he wrote and performed his first one-man show.
